Hi! I'm Clémence PARIS.

But you can call me Clem. And yes: Paris is my last name. Quite appropriate, isn't it?

Passionate about the French language and about writing (I proudly wrote and edited my first series of "illustrated albums" at the age of 7…), I enjoy teaching French with students from all over the world.

What is the most important to me

Passing on my knowledge and putting my skills in language and communication to the service of others is key. My active listening and my empathy are two strong assets for a long-term, trusting collaboration.

My experience

After teaching French as a foreign language at the University of Wolfville in Canada and in private lessons for adults in the United Kingdom, I pursued my career in communications and copywriting in France for more than 13 years.

Because teaching has always been a part of me, at the same time, I continued to teach French as a foreign language and as a language of integration here in France, in social communities. Today, I am glad to be an independant French teacher: a position that enables me to communicate with and teach to people from all over the world.

In terms of qualifications, I have a Master's degree in Communication, a Master's degree in English as well as a Bachelor's degree in English and French as a foreign language. A double course which justifies my multiple activities, since I also offer services as a freelance copywriter in French.

What motivates me

I want to help everyone to be heard and understood. “Nothing is more beautiful, it seems to me, than to be able, through speech, to captivate the attention of human assemblies” (an excerpt from Dialogue On the Orator by Cicero). Language is a power. Let's make it yours.
